Why is Tiger quiting Golf for his gold digger wife?
If any of you really think that she actually ever loved him, and not his wealth, then you are deluded. She fell in love with his wealth. Tiger is basically throwing his career away for someone who wouldn’t give him a second look if he wasn’t so rich. Does this make sense to you? He can divorce and get visitations to see his kids. But he should put his game first, not this gold digger. Also kids will be better in a home without mistrust and tension. If Tiger and his wife stay together, she will never trust him again, and there will always be tension between them. Kids are not dumb – They will pick up on this tension soon. Also people will never forget what Tiger did, and so he is wasting his time if he thinks taking a break from the game and "saving" his marriage will get the public back on his side. He cheated 11 times encounting for God’s sake. No matter what he does, this repulsive act will never be forgiven by lots of Americans.
Tiger’s decision to "save" his marriage and quit Golf is a bad decision for his career and his kids and nothing positive will be gained out of it – His wife will never trust him again and will probably divorce him soon as the tension between them really builds up. The public will never forgive him. So why exactly is he doing this? He should just focus on Golf and stop trying to fix things that are damaged beyond repair – His marriage and his image.
All he has left is his Golf, and he should focus on this and maybe adopt the bad guy darth vader personality on the Golf course and wear black shirts on Sundays and not shake the other golfers’ hands – That would suit his new bad guy image. Lots of people secretly want the bad guy to win. I always root for the bad guy in movies. He should milk this new bad guy image for all it is worth and maybe bring 4 girlfreinds him with him to Golf tournaments – One for Thursday night, one for Friday night and two for the weekend.
Tiger is only saying these things to garner public support for his image.

I kind of agree with you. IF he had just been an ordinary man she probably wouldn’t have given him the time of day. But at least she is smart to hang in their with him. I hope that he isn’t quiting but is taking some time to let the media freenzy cool off. I certainly hope he is back in time for Agusta and win that UGLY GREEN JACKET.Those are the ugliest jackets I have even seen.

You forget that he cheated on his children also does this make them gold diggers? You can try to justify this any way you like but any one with any morals would never do this to his family. He is using Magic Johnson and Wilt Chamberlain as his role models and forgetting about what is important in life, the things his father taught him about family, honor, and morals. Golf really means nothing when you compare it to your children. I feel bad for them there hero turned out to be just another jerk.

While I do agree with you that Tiger trying to save his marriage is a really bad idea (no one who cheats 10+ times REALLY wants to be married to anyone), I’d stop short of calling his wife names. Let’s not make Tiger into a victim here – every problem Tiger is facing right now was caused by Tiger’s poor decisions.
Nobody forced Tiger to marry Elin. He made that decision just like he decided to cheat on his wife multiple times. The marriage salvaging ship sailed away after about girl #3 or #9….don’t be fooled. Tiger is taking a break from golf to just lay low and hope the media frenzy will die down a little before he puts himself in the public spotlight again.

He’s never gonna quit, regardless of what he says. People love him because of golf, his wife notice him cuz of golf. Without golf, we wouldn’t be talking about him. He will always be with golf, but I highly doubt he will be with his wife in the future.
Also, it’s retarded that he’s giving golf…he’s supposed to be giving up his whores. How many people quit their job because they were cheating on their wives? NOBODY! So him saying he’s quitting means nothing.

Tiger is making a huge mistake by quitting golf. He needs to get rid of Elin and cut his losses now.
I remember well when Tiger was trying to keep it on the down low that he was engaged, Elin’s dad announced to the world that Tiger was marrying his daughter. So to not embarrass Elin, it’s like Tiger just went through with the marriage.
Now I have no doubt that her dad is telling her how to get as much money out of Tiger as she can.
Elin was a glorified babysitter with a so-so modeling career, for pete’s sake.
After he gets rid of Elin, he should concentrate on his golf career and his children. Then he can have every Sally, Sue and Mary out there because he’ll be single then.
He’s making a mistake and not only is the marriage beyond repair, but he will truly resent Elin because he gave up a career he loved for someone he truly doesn’t love and he knows that she doesn’t love him.
