What golf clubs should I buy?
I have been golfing for 3 years but I had a very crappy junior set with only like 7 clubs, I took a break for 2 years and now I want to start again but I have no clue what to buy? I’m turning 16 in little less than a month and I’m pretty short for my age.
Any ideas on what to buy I need everything: Driver, Irons and putter.
Thanks
i just started golfing again for the first time in about a year. im 14 and was also using a very crappy set… im taking golf a lot more seriously this year, so i bought nike slingshot OSS irons, Nike Sumo 5900, i also started using high quality balls… but cobra and taylormade also makes very good clubs… but ive added about 50 yards with my driver, and a lot more control with my irons.

You need to head down to your local golf shop and test a range of different clubs and brands. There is not one certain brand that you should go for. I do suggest getting irons with a larger cavity in the club, only because this will make it easy for you to hit the ball. the larger the cavity, the larger the sweet spot. Also look for a thicker sole as this will help you get the ball in the air.
As for a driver, go with what feels comfortable. maybe look at a higher lofted driver to help the ball in the air.
Remember you don’t need to go out and spend big dollars for your first full set of clubs.

Buy a cheap set 300 for EVERYTHING. Get your handicap down to 20-25, then think about a nicer set.
