Man and woman found shot dead in car at golf club - Mirror OnlineLocal Boy Makes Good … Courses

I want to golf with friends. What are some cheap clubs I can get and where should I get them?

Not looking to break the bank by any means. Not concerned if they are considered good. Just cheap.

You should buy used clubs. Google "golf clubs" and your city name and you’ll probably find local online buy/sell websites like Craigslist. Bring a friend who knows the most about golf clubs and I’m sure you’ll get what you need for a very good price.

I just did that for my city and came up with this: http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-sports-bikes-Golf-bag-and-clubs-W0QQAdIdZ204328509

  1. Well, if I were you, I’d look at ebay or amazon. maybe even target. sporting stores such Dik’s Sporting Goods & sports authority are usually very expensive but you can look there as well. although, id have to say youd be best off with ebay.

checking local yard/garage sales or second hand stores are good ideas too.

  3. To add another store into the mix;I suggest Play it Again Sports. This store sells on consignment and the prices might be a bit higher but you can find some good bargains.
If you are willing to barter this store will take your unused sports equipment and use it as a partial credit on some decent golf clubs.

For the accessories such as golf balls, tees and gloves shop Target. The prices are very reasonable.

Golf shoes:Dick’s or Sports Authority.I purchased a pair of Footjoys in early spring for about 40.00.

  4. try going to dicks and picking up an acuity full set. they are very cheap because they are a set and they are bought in bulk. probably wont get a better deal for a beginner. i used the voltage clubs for the past 2 years and you actually can hit them decently well. driver sucks, but everything else in the bag aint half bad. perfect for a beginner. i got mine for 150 plus tax

  6. Before you begin imposing on friends to play golf, I hope that you have a certain level of skill, that you have read about golf etiquette and the rapport required and are a credit to the golfing community. If not, be sure you brush up on what is required as well as learning and following the rules. Most golfers will tolerate a novice. The will not accept one who has no regard for the etiquette and rules.
