Can cement tiles be broken with a flying golf ball?

I am in escrow on a home next to a 2 hole long range Private golf course, and the Flag pole for the hole is about 35 feet away from my kitchen.
What speed do the golf balls fly ? Could fast landing balls be the reason that more than a few of the cement tiles on the roof are cracking and breaking ?
Any other things I should be concerned about living so close??
I want to spend time outside in my yard which is even closer with my little dog.

  1. Do you mean concrete? It is a common error to call concrete ”cement”. Concrete is an artificial stone product made by binding an aggregate of sand and gravel together with water, and Portland Cement.

Can concrete tiles be broken with a flying golf ball?

Yes. especially if the concrete was poorly made by using the incorrect ratios of water/aggregate/cement.

  2. Most Definatly Crack

  3. I would be more worried about my skull. But if your tiles are your main concern… YES.

Happy living on the golf course!
